Starting a wireless ISP in a rural or underserved areas of Asia or Africa? BusinessCom's unique PEP-iDirect VSAT system provides satellite Internet backbones for WISP businesses with global coverage. BusinessCom's iDirect services enable enterpreneurs to establish Internet connectivity from any point in the Eastern Hemisphere. They provide broadband Internet access to end subscribers with near-ISDN or DSL speeds costs equivalent to terrestrial offers in Europe or the United States.

PEP-iDirect is a perfect platform for a start-up WISP business, with much lower costs than standard SCPC systems and terrestrial circuits in monopoly local telecom markets, while maintaining equivalent high-quality backbone service.

BusinessCom's PEP-iDirect solution operates on C-Band beams on Loral Skynet Telstar-10 and NewSkies NSS-7 satellites as well as Ku-Band beam on Telstar-12. Using C-Band and Turbo Product Codes, the PEP-iDirect solution is stabile against extremes of weather, such as tropical rainfalls or desert dust storms in Iraq.

The system can support as few as 50 and as many as 1500 subscribers with no equipment upgrades, while remaining cost-effective.

PEP-iDirect with the iDirect Infiniti 5100 modem supports compleletely dedicated iSCPCv2 circuits. The same PEP-iDirect earth station can therefore support both shared and dedicated circuit configurations that allow operation with capacities of up to 22 mbit/s CIR.

BusinessCom offers a complete range of satellite Internet connectivity solutions for ISPs, residential, and SOHO/SME subscribers in Eastern Europe, the Balkans, former CIS states, East Asia, Africa, and Mediterranean regions. From MF-TDMA-based VSAT systems to enterprise-level and dedicated segment backbone connectivity for global service providers, BusinessCom ensures vendor independence in its individualized relationships with governments and commercial institutions worldwide.
