|Xytech Enterprise Version 7.5 Provides an Integrated Solution for Transmission Order Management|
At NAB 2005, Xytech introduced its first new version of the company's integrated workflow management solution in a year. Enterprise Version 7.5 includes hundreds of improvements to the system, including:
A new Digital Asset Workflow Management Module covers everything from asset ingest and management to order entry and transmission management.
The Enterprise Web Time Card Module for the Enterprise Workflow Management System allows organizations to save time and money by making it easy for workers to enter data from anywhere while the information is fresh in their minds.
The Enterprise Transmission Module delivers Order Maintenance and Selection applications, along with a Setup application to define transmission services. These applications are used in conjunction with the existing Enterprise Job Management and Enterprise Scheduling applications to provide an integrated solution for transmission order management.
For Entertainment and Media-Based Organizations
According to Xytech, Enterprise is the most comprehensive, feature-rich workflow management system available that is built specifically for entertainment and media-based organizations. Each Enterprise module supports a high level of functionality and depth for media companies. Large and small organizations benefit from standardizing on a single fully integrated software solution that increases communication and workflow efficiencies between departments, improve productivity of their personnel and maximize the usage of valuable equipment and facilities.
Major modules include:
Open Architecture, Multi-Lingual, Multi-Currency
These are open architecture products that run on Microsoft Windows clients and may also be deployed to Apple Macintosh clients. The system may also be accessed and used using standard Web Browsers. Enterprise supports Oracle, Microsoft and Sybase database platforms. The system may also be internationalized to run in any language. The language used for all field prompts, menus, tab headings and other text used in the software may be changed based on the individual user's log-on identity. For instance, a user in a Brazil can log onto the system and use a Portuguese version of the program; an English-speaking user can log onto the same system and see only an English language interface. Enterprise supports multiple time zones and currencies. This, combined with the multi-language capabilities of the system, allows users from all over the world to easily interact with the same database.
|Xytech's software systems are used by large media conglomerates (owners of movie studios and major television networks), independent postproduction companies, television stations and rental houses, as well as corporations in the aerospace, automotive, retailing, restaurant, semiconductor, and paper products industries.|
