World Teleport Association Announces Election of Four Leading Executives to its Board of Directors

(New York City, April 15, 2014) – The World Teleport Association today announced the election of four members of its Board of Directors. Three individuals were elected to their first three-year terms on the Board of Directors:
- Robert Kubbernus, CEO, Signalhorn Trusted Networks GMBH
- Kian Soon Lim, Head, Satellite, Business Group, Group Enterprise, Singapore Telecommunications
- Jorge Villarreal Schutz, CEO, Elara Comunicaciones
Koby Zontag, Senior Director, Sales & Business Development for RRsat Global Communications, was elected to serve a second three-year term.
"WTA is fortunate to attract business executives of this caliber to its Board of Directors,” said executive director Robert Bell. "The credit for that goes to our Chairman, Brett Belinsky of Encompass Digital Media, who has made development of a powerful and effective Board a priority of his tenure.”
In addition to these Directors, the members of WTA’s Board of Directors include: Chairman M. Brett Belinsky, Managing Director, EMEA, Encompass Digital Media; Roger Franklin, President & CEO, Crystal Solutions; Richard Hadsall, CTO, MTN Government Solutions; Tomaz Lovsin, Managing Director, STN; Mark Rathert, General Manager, Gound Operations (U.S.), SES; Francis Rolland, CEO, GlobeCast UK; Jose Sanchez Ruiz, Director of Service Operations, Eutelsat, Scott Sprague, CCO, NewSat; James Trevelyan, Sales Director, Arqiva; and Serge Van Herck, CEO, Newtec.
Directors on the WTA Board serve three-year terms, and are elected by the membership. These terms are effective as of April 1, 2014.
