KBIH owns and operates the biggest independent (privately owned) satellite teleport facility in the Balkans. It is located in Lavrion Technological and Culture Park, in Attica, 38 kilometers away from the center of Athens. The teleport was initially built in 1999 and was acquired by KBHI in 2007. Its development and improvement is an ongoing and continuous procedure. It offers access to satellites between 50 West and 95 East, reaching destinations in Europe, Asia, Africa and America. It offers cost-effective equipment housing for switching, multiplexing - demultiplexing and IP connectivity, besides the direct commercial carrier services offered by KBIH.
